Vaudeville and slap-stick collide with the towering figure of famed American inventor Thomas Edison in this comedic drama about art and commerce and the birth of the motion picture. 

Moving Picture premiered on the Nikos Stage of the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Williamstown, MA, directed by Darko Tresnjak. The play was supported by a playwright’s residency and public staged readings at the National Playwrights Conference
 at the O’Neill Theatre Center, Waterford, CT, directed by Gerald Freedman, and by a playwright’s residency and public staged readings at the New Harmony Project in New Harmony, Indiana. Commissioned by The Ensemble Studio Theatre / Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Science & Technology Project.
